I have opened many blogs throughout my life but they all had a short life; they just simply lost my interest. But for the first time in my life, I feel like this one's different, like this is "the one". I know it'll take a lot a work, a lot of sweat and I'll feel like quitting sometimes but even if no one reads it, even if no one visit ou follow the blog, even if I end up writing just for myself... This will always be my little corner, MY BLOG.

I'd say that this year was a year of reflection. A lot has happened but, most importantly, it was a year in which the line betweet the past and the future was defined and strenghtened. And it was also a year of decisions and as much odd as this may sound, I'm very proud and happy with it.

Now that I look back and I read this post, I realize that I've accomplished the most important goals and the less materialistic ones. It may not be great and even if it's only part-time, I got a job. I may have not traveled as much as I wanted but I still have my piggy bank and it keeps growing. Besides, the gym didn't work like I wanted but it's a work in progress and it is going very well.

Besides all this, I catched up with friends from the past, I had a visit from a special friend who did Erasmus with me and, in general, I was very happy. Oh, and my brother got me a four-footed nephew!

As for 2013, I foresee great things for me! Unlike in previous years, I haven't established big goals for the upcoming year, only two things to accomplish: make this blog grow and bring success to it and the other...well, the other is still a secret. ;)

Durante a minha vida, abri e fechei alguns blogs; simplesmente perdiam o interesse e eu desisti de escrever. Mas pela primeira vez sinto que este blog é diferente, é "o tal". Sei que me vai dar muito trabalho, sei que vou querer desistir algumas vezes e sei que vão haver tempos mortos e mesmo que ninguém o leia, mesmo que ninguém o visite ou siga, mesmo que eu acabe por escrever só para mim... Vai ser sempre o meu cantinho, o MEU BLOG.

Este ano eu diria que foi um ano de reflexão. Aconteceu muita coisa, é um facto, mas acima de tudo foi um ano em que a linha entre o passado e o futuro se definiu e se fortificou. Foi também um ano de decisões e por muito estranho que isto possa soar, estou muito orgulhosa e feliz por isso.

Agora que olho para trás e leio este post, apercebo-me de que, em parte, realizei os objectivos mais importantes e os menos materialistas. Ainda que não seja o ideal e que seja apenas em part-time, consegui arranjar um trabalho. Não consegui viajar como queria, mas consegui manter o porquinho-mealheiro e continua a crescer. Além disso, o ginásio não tem surtido o efeito como eu queria, mas é um work in progress que está a correr muito bem.

Para além de tudo isto, revi amigos do passado, amigos que viveram Erasmus comigo e de uma maneira ou de outra, fui muito feliz. Ah, e o meu irmão arranjou-me um sobrinho de quatro patas!

Quanto a 2013, antevejo coisas óptimas para mim! Contrariamente aos anos anteriores, não estipulei grandes metas para o novo ano, apenas dois objectivos a cumprir: fazer crescer este blog e trazer-lhe sucesso e o outro...bem, o outro ainda é segredo. ;)
